Why pharmacies choose it
Less rework at the counter. More control behind it.
Built for an Indian medical store: rupees and paise, GST, Schedule drugs, UPI, WhatsApp, and English or Hindi bills.
Bills that are right the first time
GST worked out per line and per rate, MRP-inclusive, the earliest-expiry batch picked for you, and an expired pack can never be added. Print on A4 or a thermal roll, or save the bill as a PDF.
Never run out, never expire
Reorder suggestions come from how fast each product really sells, minus what is already on order. Near-expiry and slow-moving lists show what to move before it is wasted.
Get paid faster
Choose UPI and the counter shows a QR for the exact amount after discounts, so nobody mistypes it. Regular customers buy on account up to a limit, with payment terms in days and a WhatsApp reminder for what is overdue.
Ready for the inspector
A hash-chained Schedule H1 and X register that detects any changed or removed entry, prescriptions with the prescriber recorded, and an audit log of who did what.
Know how the shop is doing
Insights for takings, average bill and busiest hour; reports for sales, GST, owed by customers and to suppliers; a day book and a cash-drawer count for every shift.
Grow from one store to many
Each store keeps its own stock, bills and register. Transfers between stores, a store-wide discount, per-store bill details and a UPI ID, and reports across all stores.
One pharmacy
A desktop app that keeps its data in a file on your computer and works with no internet.
A chain
The same screens on a server with sign-in, roles, two-step sign-in, optional single sign-on and a shared customer list.
A hospital pharmacy
Prescriptions by doctor and a hand-off for the hospital's own records.
Modules
What a pharmacy day needs.
Each card is built and covered by tests. The limits are on this page too, in Honest limits.
The counter
Barcode, GS1 DataMatrix or camera scan, or name search; schedule H/H1/X rules with the prescriber recorded; discounts per product, per bill or per store; free-unit schemes; cash, UPI, card or split; customers on account; loyalty points; printable and PDF bills; WhatsApp bill links.
Stock and expiry
Batches with expiry and cost, packs counted in strips and loose tablets, near-expiry and slow-moving lists, substitutes by salt and strength, and receiving by scanning the pack.
Purchasing and suppliers
Purchase orders, receiving against an order, an invoice reader that fills a delivery from a photo or PDF, supplier bills with GST, payments, statements and ageing, price history, and returns with the credit note.
Customers and credit
Credit limits and payment terms, opening balances from the old books, receipts, statements and ageing, write-offs, customer returns with GST credit notes, and refill reminders from each customer's own pattern.
Controlled drugs
A hash-chained register for Schedule H1 and X: every dispense, return, delivery and correction, the balance left in each batch, and a check that nothing has been altered.
GST and accounts
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B figures with input credit, a GSTR-2B match, e-way bill JSON, an e-invoice JSON builder that records the portal's IRN, a sales register and a Tally voucher export.
Reports and insights
Takings by day, by hour and by payment method, top products, GST by rate, busy hours, owed by customers and to suppliers. Worked out on the server, so a large history stays quick.
Shifts and cash
Open a shift with a float, cash in and out, close against a count that must be explained if it differs, and a day book you can send to the owner on WhatsApp.
Many stores
One company, several stores, transfers between them, a store switcher, per-store bill details and standing discount, and a chain-wide reorder suggestion.
Security and operations
Roles, two-step sign-in, optional single sign-on, an audit log, encrypted backups with a restore check and off-site copies, health metrics and ready-made alert rules.
Desktop and web
A desktop app on macOS (Windows and Linux are not yet verified) with a local SQLite file, and the same screens on a web server with PostgreSQL, Docker images and a Helm chart.
Languages and accessibility
English and Hindi screens and bills, light and dark appearance, keyboard-first use, and every screen scanned for WCAG 2.1 AA in the automated tests.

Honest limits
What Zyvora Pharmacy is not, yet.
Taken from the product's own documentation. A long feature list does not prove a commercial launch.
| Area | Where it stands |
|---|---|
| Maturity | A pilot release with a working core, tested at several layers. Start with a controlled pilot alongside your existing process. |
| Review | No pharmacist or CA has reviewed the GST invoices, the H/H1/X register or record retention yet, and no independent security review has been done. |
| Tax and statutory | GST figures, GSTR-1/3B offline-tool JSON, e-way bill JSON and e-invoice JSON are worked out for you to check. Zyvora files nothing and is not certified GST software; it does not connect to the e-invoice portal (you paste its answer in) or to a GSP. The GSTR-2B match and the exports have not been checked against a real portal statement. Blocked credit, reverse charge and amendments are not built. |
| Payments | UPI is a QR for the exact amount: Zyvora cannot see that money arrived, so the cashier confirms in the shop's UPI app. No payment gateway, no SMS sending, no fiscal printer or scale drivers. |
| Hardware | Scanners, the camera and thermal printers are tested with simulated input. No real printer or scanner has been tried, and the camera has not been tried on a real phone. |
| Medicine data | No bundled clinical database. The shop enters its own interaction rules, and salt and strength lookups use your own catalogue. |
| Controlled drugs | The register is a faithful record, not a licence. Inspectors' formats and local rules still apply, and the legal position on controlled-drug transfers between stores is yours to confirm. |
| Importing | Products, opening stock, customers and supplier balances import from CSV. There are no direct readers for Marg, Busy or Tally exports yet. |
| Desktop installers | Signed, auto-updating installers are not published yet. The desktop app is checked on macOS only; Windows and Linux are not verified. The one-command trial on Windows runs inside WSL 2 and has not been verified on a real Windows PC. |
| Scale and hosting | One PostgreSQL database and no high availability or point-in-time recovery. Run once on a demo cluster, not yet a production one. It is not a hosted service: one company per deployment. |
Questions
Straight answers.
Can I run my pharmacy on it today?
Treat it as a pilot. The counter, stock, purchasing, register and GST workings are built and tested, but filing, payment gateways and hardware drivers are not there. Run it alongside your current process first.
Does it do GST?
It works out bills, returns and credit in the way the law sets them out and exports files for the GST offline tool, the e-way bill portal and Tally. It does not file anything and is not certified GST software.
Does it need the internet?
No. The desktop app and the trial copy run on your own machine. The browser demo runs entirely in your browser.
Where does my data live?
On your computer (a SQLite file) for the desktop app, or in your own PostgreSQL for the server. The trial copy keeps made-up data in a container volume that uninstall deletes.
Is there AI in it?
There is an optional invoice reader that fills a delivery from a photo or PDF, running in the app. Suggestions (reorder, refills) are arithmetic from your own history, and the screen shows the working.
Can I see the source?
The source repository is private. Ask sales what can be shared with evaluators; the trial uses published container images, not the source.
Can customers pay by UPI?
Yes, at the counter: set the shop's UPI ID once, and choosing UPI shows a QR for the exact amount that PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm and other UPI apps open. A bill left on account prints a pay-the-balance QR. Zyvora cannot see the payment arrive, so the cashier checks the shop's UPI app before pressing Checkout.
Can it run several stores?
Yes. Each store keeps its own stock, bills and register, with transfers between stores, a store switcher, and reports for one store or all. Customers and their credit limit are shared across the company.
Is it in Hindi?
The screens and bills can be shown in English or Hindi, or both on one bill. Bill PDFs are in English for now.
Can I bring my existing data?
Products, opening stock with expiry and cost, customers with opening balances, and supplier balances import from CSV with a row-by-row check. There is no direct reader for Marg, Busy or Tally exports yet.
